The Western Cluster of Plastics PLASTOPOLIS was established in December 2009, as a result of a partnership agreement between the companies Eureka Technology Park PLC, Eureka PLC, Foundation for Education, Innovation and Implementation of New Technologies and Interplastik PLC. Another four companies joined the PLASTOPOLIS in 28 June 2010.

Cluster create a cooperation platform in order to realize common projects by the members. Cluster Working Groups are coordinated by the Eureka Technology Park Sp. z o. o.

The aim of the Cluster is developing resources, expertise in the area of ​​plastics and support entrepreneurship and innovation. Plastopolis create a cooperation network, allowing the potential of different individuals, companies, universities and other entities.
